Daher der Name mimpiindah ( Indonesisch für träum schön).
Schwerpunkt dabei ist Südostasien, aber auch Amerika, zum Beispiel
Brasilien, aber auch die Vereinigten Staaten. Es gibt auch viele Städtefotos,
insgesamt etwa 2500 Fotos

The purpose
of my Homepage is to present pictures and give some traveling tips
learned from my journeys to far away countries. My goal is to show
excellent pictures of these far away countries so that you will be
encouraged to make your own travel plans. That is why I name my site
"mimpiindah". Translated from the Indonesian language it
means "have nice dreams". Most of my pictures are from Southeast
Asia and America. However, there are also a lot of pictures from many
European cities. In all, a total of 2500 pictures. Enjoy the pictures
and start dreaming.

Über
mich: Ich mache seit dreissig
Jahren immer wieder mal Urlaub in Ländern Südostasiens.
Der Schwerpunkt dabei ist Indonesien. Leider habe
ich nicht mehr so viel Zeit wie als Student, dafür ist der Geldbeutel
weniger schmal als damals, das erspart dann zum Beispiel "tote"
Zeit auf der Suche nach der günstigsten Weiterreise und erleichtert
so das Reisen. Ich kenne also sowohl die Rucksackperspektive als auch
die "bequemere" Variante
.

About
me: For 30 years I have
spent my vacations travelling to various countries in Southeast Asia
and America. For a long time my travels were only to Indonesia. When
I was a student a had plenty of free time to travel but had little
money. Unfortunately now, because of my career I don't have as much
free time. However, because of my career I do have more money to spend.
This has its advantages including making travelling much easier and
saving a lot of time. As a result, while I was a student I experienced
the "backpacker's way" of travelling and as a more seasoned
traveller I have also experienced the "comfortable way" to
