Finally sunshine,
white beach and a green-blue sea in front of the hotel. There is everything
available that makes a good beach life. Restaurants on the beach, icecold
drinks, sellers offering fruits, coconuts, massage and even boiled
lobsters! There are also handicapped war veterans begging at the beach.
The country is too poor to feed the many war veterans, so they have
to earn their living themselves.
Excursions:
The oceanographic institute offers marine life, many pools, about 60000
prepared or preserved animals. A bit funny, but it is not a zoo, it
is a institute made to support research.
Long Son

Next to the beach this is the second most important attraction of Nha
Trang.
Mama Linh Boat Trip, why not. It is fun. You will see various islands,
birds nest harvesting, snorkelling and the "Bar in the sea".
After jumping from the boats top you hang your body into a lifebelt,
very relaxing. A swimming bar comes along offering Vietnamese red wine
with pineapple. The water keeps you cool, the sun will burn your head
and the wine helps to relax, loud music from the boat proofs that the
western topcharts have arrived also in Vietnam.
Why the ladies
in the boats wear long gloves and long-armed shirts? Too sunny outside.
If the arms look tanned, people might think that you are a poor farmworker.
Terrible.
